French HBO Original series The Seduction debuts November 14 on HBO Max

Adapted from the classic novel Dangerous Liaisons, the new French series debuts on HBO Max on Friday, 14 November. The cast of the HBO Original series includes Anamaria Vartolomei, Diane Kruger, Vincent Lacoste ja Lucas Bravo.

To be the hero of your own story, you sometimes have to be the villain in others’. Marquise de Merteuil, betrayed by Valmont, embarks on a daring journey to become Paris' leading courtesan. Freely adapted from the novel Les Liaisons Dangereuses by Pierre Choderlos de Laclos, a thrilling exploration of the price of emotional and sexual freedom, in a world where women had little.
The series stars Anamaria Vartolomei (Isabelle de Merteuil), Diane Kruger (Madame de Rosemonde), Vincent Lacoste (Vicomte de Valmont), and Lucas Bravo (Comte de Gercourt). They will be joined by Noée Abita (Madame de Tourvel), Julien de Saint-Jean (Louis de Germain), Fantine Harduin (Cécile de Volanges), Samuel Kircher (Chevalier Danceny), and Sandrine Blancke (Madame de Volanges).
The Seduction is directed by Jessica Palud, created by Jean-Baptiste Delafon, and written by Jean-Baptiste Delafon in collaboration with Jessica Palud (episodes 1, 2, and 6) and Gaëlle Bellan (episode 1). Produced by NABI Productions (UGC Group) (Clément Birnbaum, Joachim Nahum) and Felicita Films (TF1 Studios Group) (Marie Guillaumond).
The Seduction (6 x 44 min) premieres 14 November on HBO Max in Iceland.
