Filip (Ignacy Liss) is a young, irresponsible and brazen gay man, convinced the world is his oyster. When a family tragedy strikes, his self-focus turns into a lingering feeling of guilt. As he takes care of his infant niece, Filip wants to remain free, yet he rebels at the thought of giving his niece over to strangers due to his own childhood trauma. To care for her, he must face his weaknesses, failures, and societal prejudice. Proud is created and directed by Karol Klementewicz. The series is written by Klementewicz and Monika Pęcikiewicz and is produced for HBO Max by TVN Warner Bros. Discovery in collaboration with Magnolia Films. Proud won the International Competition Grand Prize and its lead Ignacy Liss was awarded Best Actor at this year's Series Mania.

HOUSE OF THE DRAGON
Season 3 premieres 22 June

Based on George R.R. Martin’s Fire & Blood, the series, set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones, tells the story of House Targaryen. The third season of the drama series stars Matt Smith, Emma D’Arcy, Olivia Cooke, Steve Toussaint, Rhys Ifans, Fabien Frankel, Ewan Mitchell, Tom Glynn-Carney, Sonoya Mizuno, Harry Collett, Phoebe Campbell and James Norton. Co-creator, showrunner, and executive producer for the new season is Ryan Condal. George R.R. Martin serves as co-creator and executive producer.

LIFE, LARRY AND THE PURSUIT OF UNHAPPINESS
Premieres 27 June

President and Mrs. Obama wanted to honor America’s 250th anniversary and celebrate the unique history of the nation on this special occasion… But then Larry David called. In addition to David, the series will feature select Curb Your Enthusiasm actors and noteworthy guest stars. Life, Larry and the Pursuit of Unhappiness is written and executive produced by Larry David and co-creator Jeff Schaffer, who also serves as director. Executive produced by Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, Ethan Lewis, and Vinnie Malhotra for Higher Ground.

NEW ON HBO MAX: PODCASTS

On May 19, podcasts were launched on HBO Max across Europe, featuring exclusive behind-the-scenes insights, conversations with creators, and giving fans a new way to engage with the storytelling. The integration was introduced with Harry Potter: The Official Film Podcast, an engaging exploration of the most memorable moments from all eight Harry Potter films, available in both audio and video formats. 

From June onwards, several new podcast series connected to popular franchises such as Game of Thrones will be released, including a brand-new season of The Game of Thrones Podcast: House of the Dragon which will be available in video format for the first time and release alongside season 3 of the TV series. In addition, podcasts tied to some of HBO Max’s most popular series and films will be released, such as The Last of Us, The Pitt, and The Comeback, as well as the film podcast Sinners: In Proximity and the rewatch podcast The History of Curb Your Enthusiasm.
