But just as life starts to feel a little boring, it takes a sudden lethal turn when she discovers that ‘The Seven Demons’, a squad of the world’s most terrifying hitmen, have been hired to kill her. Assuming someone from her past is behind it, Jackie unleashes her old instincts and embarks on a wild, dangerous game plan: to take down ‘The Seven Demons’ one by one before they kill her. However, she soon realizes that her own demons are far more terrifying than the ruthless killers on her trail… and her buried secrets lead her closer to home, with surprising consequences. From the creatives behind Killing Eve and Gangs of London, the series is based on the acclaimed novel The Price You Pay by Sunday Times best-selling author Nick Harkaway, who writes under the pseudonym Aidan Truhen. They will all have to face these harsh situations with the only weapon they have left: rage. The series stars Maribel Verdú, Carmen Maura, María León, Cecilia Suárez, Ana Mena, Clara Sans, Claudia Salas and Ana Torrent, and is created and directed by Félix Sabroso, who co-writes the scripts with Juan Flahn and co-directs with Jau Fornés. When two strangers arrive at Pam’s door digging into her past, a disturbing chain of events is set in motion, leaving the townspeople of Crystal Lake wondering: just who is Pam Voorhees? Set within the world of one of horror’s most enduring franchises, Crystal Lake expands the mythology of Pamela and Jason Voorhees through a suspenseful new mystery. Crystal Lake stars Emmy winner Linda Cardellini and William Catlett and is produced by A24.
